Warranty-authorized service provider
The go-to technicians for Breda dishwashers in BC
Fix Cheetah is authorized to perform Breda manufacturer-warranty repairs, and we fix out-of-warranty Breda appliances with the same training and genuine parts.
Breda dishwasher repair calls for someone who has actually had one apart, because the brand is still new to many BC kitchens. These are European-built 24-inch models made for the North American market, including tall tub, Pro and ADA-height versions, plus panel-ready options with a pocket handle that blend into the cabinetry. They use a seam-welded stainless steel tub, run at a quiet 43 to 45 dBA, and dry by condensation, which is gentle on dishes but relies on rinse aid to finish the job. The Pro model adds a brushless motor. Breda ships these dishwashers with a braided stainless supply line and drain hose, a detail that matters when we trace a leak.
Fix Cheetah is warranty-authorized for Breda. If your dishwasher is within the manufacturer's coverage, we handle the repair and the claim from start to finish. After the warranty ends, we keep servicing Breda dishwashers as paid repairs, quoted after inspection and fitted with genuine parts. Knowing the layout, sensors and fault behaviour saves real time on site. We cover Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Delta, Surrey and the Fraser Valley, and our Whistler team handles Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton.

5 Most Common Breda Dishwasher Issues and How to Fix Them
Breda dishwasher not drying
Breda dries by condensation. The final rinse heats the load, and moisture then condenses on the cooler stainless tub walls. Without rinse aid, water beads on glass and stays there, and plastics stay damp because they don't hold heat. Top up the rinse-aid dispenser, raise its setting a notch and crack the door open once the cycle ends. If glass and ceramics are wet too, or the final rinse feels lukewarm, the heating element, the temperature sensor or the dispenser itself needs professional testing.
Breda dishwasher not draining
Food and labels collect in the filter on the tub floor, and a fruit pit or glass fragment can lock the drain pump impeller. Breda's braided drain hose resists kinking, but it still needs a high loop under the counter or dirty sink water siphons back in. Switch off the power, lift out and rinse the filter, and if the dishwasher is newly installed, confirm the garburator's knockout plug was removed. When the sump stays full with a clean filter and a clear hose, we test the drain pump.
Breda dishwasher leaking
Water in the base pan lifts the anti-flood float, so the dishwasher halts the cycle and pumps out. The trigger can be a door gasket pinched by a rack, a worn sump seal, a loose fitting on the braided supply line or suds from the wrong detergent. Turn off the power, wipe the gasket, and hold a dry paper towel against the supply connection under the sink to spot a slow drip. A repeat shut-off with dry fittings means a technician has to open the base, dry it and trace the leak.
Breda dishwasher not filling
Long cycles and poor cleaning often begin at the water supply. A partly closed shut-off valve, a clogged screen at the inlet valve or a weak inlet valve starves the machine, and a float stuck in the raised position fools the control into thinking it's full. Confirm the valve under the sink is fully open, turn off the breaker before checking behind the toe kick for a pinched line, and make sure nothing is resting on the float cover in the tub corner. If water still trickles in, the inlet valve or its screen needs servicing.
Breda panel-ready door falling open
The door springs have to be set for the weight of the custom panel. Too little tension and the door drops; too much and it snaps shut, straining the hinges and pulling the gasket out of line. A pocket-handle panel that rubs the next cabinet can also stop the door closing fully. Check that nothing catches on the counter edge or the drawer beside it. Spring adjustment is done with the door under load, so leave it to a technician, who can set the tension and realign the panel.
If your Breda still isn't right after those checks, we'll come out, find the real fault and replace parts with genuine Breda components, covered by warranty when it applies, across Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and the Sea-to-Sky corridor.

Breda Dishwasher Repair FAQ
How do I arrange a Breda dishwasher warranty repair?
Call or book online with the model and serial number from the label on the inside edge of the door, plus your proof of purchase. Breda's standard warranty covers parts and labour for a set period from purchase. We confirm whether your repair qualifies before any work starts.
Why are plastic items always damp in my Breda dishwasher?
Because plastic doesn't hold enough heat for condensation drying to work on it. The system relies on hot dishes shedding moisture onto the cooler tub walls, so some dampness on plastics is normal. Keep the rinse aid topped up and open the door briefly at the end of the cycle to help it along.
Can you install a replacement panel on my Breda?
Yes. We mount custom panels and adjust the door springs to match their weight, so the door opens smoothly, stays where you leave it and seals properly when closed.
