Warranty-authorized service provider
The go-to technicians for Frigidaire dishwashers in BC
Fix Cheetah is authorized to perform Frigidaire manufacturer-warranty repairs, and we fix out-of-warranty Frigidaire appliances with the same training and genuine parts.
Frigidaire dishwasher repair is routine work for us, because these machines are standard in so many Metro Vancouver condos, townhomes and rental suites. The line runs from basic front-control models to Frigidaire Gallery and Frigidaire Professional units with stainless tubs, third racks and the rotating OrbitClean spray arm. Most current models use a manual filter in the tub floor rather than a self-cleaning grinder, so how that filter is looked after has a big effect on cleaning and draining. Our soft local water also makes detergent dosing a common factor in film, suds and poor drying.
Fix Cheetah is warranty-authorized for Frigidaire and takes care of eligible warranty repairs along with paid repairs on older dishwashers. We test the pumps, heater, sensors and door switches, explain what we find and quote before any chargeable work. Repairs use genuine Frigidaire parts. Retailers, builders and property managers send us their Frigidaire dishwasher calls. We cover Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley from Surrey, the Sea-to-Sky corridor from our Whistler base, and outlying areas on scheduled trips.

5 Most Common Frigidaire Dishwasher Issues and How to Fix Them
Frigidaire dishwasher not draining
An i20 code or water sitting in the tub usually traces back to the manual filter under the lower spray arm, a kinked drain hose, a plugged air gap or debris caught in the drain pump impeller. Frigidaire also reads the water level through a small pressure tube, and when that clogs the control can think the tub never emptied. Switch off the breaker, twist out and rinse the filter, and clean the air gap cap on the counter if you have one. If i20 comes back, the pump and the pressure sensing need testing.
Frigidaire dishwasher not cleaning
Gritty glasses and food left on plates often point to a blocked OrbitClean or lower spray arm, a dirty filter or a wash pump that can't build pressure. Overloading and too much detergent for our soft water make it worse. Lift out the spray arms, clear any blocked jets, and make sure tall pans aren't stopping the arms from turning. Run the kitchen tap hot before you start. If the load is still dirty after that, a technician should check the circulation pump and the fill level set by the inlet valve.
Frigidaire dishwasher leaking
Water on the floor or an i30 code means water has reached the base pan and tripped the float, so the control keeps the drain pump running. Worn door gaskets, a cracked spray arm firing at the door, a loose drain hose clamp or suds from hand soap are the usual causes. Turn the power off, dry the floor and inspect the gasket for tears or food buildup, then switch to proper dishwasher detergent at a light dose. If i30 keeps showing, a technician needs to pull the unit out and find the leak.
Frigidaire dishwasher not drying
Empty rinse aid, a failed heating element, a high-limit thermostat that has opened or a drying fan fault on models that use one all leave a wet load. Plastics will always dry less than glass and ceramic. Fill the rinse-aid dispenser, pick the heated-dry option if your model has it, and unload the bottom rack first so drips from the cups on top don't land on clean plates. If everything is soaking and the tub feels cool when the cycle ends, the heater circuit needs professional testing.
Frigidaire dishwasher not filling
An i10 code means the tub didn't fill in the time the control expects. Usual causes are a half-closed supply valve, a kinked inlet line, a clogged screen on the inlet valve or a float switch stuck in the up position. Open the valve under the sink fully, switch off the breaker before taking off the kick plate to look for a pinched line, and check that the float in the front corner of the tub moves freely. Still no water? The inlet valve or the signal driving it has failed, and we test both before ordering a part.
Code still on the display after the basic checks? Our warranty-authorized team diagnoses Frigidaire, Gallery and Professional dishwashers in your kitchen and replaces failed parts with genuine Frigidaire components across Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and Sea-to-Sky.

Frigidaire Dishwasher Repair FAQ
What does i20 mean on a Frigidaire dishwasher?
i20 means the dishwasher tried to drain and the control didn't see the water level drop as expected. A clogged filter, a kinked drain hose, a blocked air gap or a jammed drain pump are the usual causes, and a clogged pressure tube can trigger it too. Clean the filter and check the hose first.
What information helps with a Frigidaire dishwasher warranty claim?
The model and serial number, proof of purchase with the date and retailer, and a short description of the symptom. The label is along the edge of the inner door or tub opening. As a warranty-authorized provider we confirm eligibility with Frigidaire, and anything outside coverage is quoted first.
How often should I clean the Frigidaire dishwasher filter?
Every few weeks, and more often if you don't scrape heavily soiled dishes. A clogged filter is one of the most common causes of poor cleaning and slow draining we see on Frigidaire models.
Do you install replacement Frigidaire dishwashers too?
Yes. If a repair doesn't make sense, we can install a new dishwasher, connect the water and drain, secure it to the counter and take the old one away.
