Kelowna is the heart of the Okanagan, with lakefront homes in the Lower Mission, hillside view properties in the Upper Mission, Black Mountain and Wilden, family neighbourhoods in Glenmore and Rutland, and a growing downtown full of condos. Across the bridge, West Kelowna adds its own mix of vineyards and view homes. Fix Cheetah provides scheduled appliance repair in Kelowna, with visits on both sides of the lake.
Kelowna is a highway trip from our Surrey base, so we book Okanagan visits in advance and plan routes around them. We repair refrigerators, freezers, wine coolers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, ovens, cooktops and range hoods, and we quote before any work.

Hot, dry summers and hard-working refrigeration
The Okanagan's summers are far hotter than the coast's, and refrigerators, freezers and wine coolers work harder to keep up. Units in garages or on covered patios are especially strained, and dusty condenser coils or weak condenser fans can push them past their limits. We clean coils, check fans and relays and test compressor performance. Wine storage is a big part of Okanagan life, and we service wine coolers and beverage centres, including Cavavin, for which we are warranty-authorized.
Harder water than the coast
Kelowna's water is drawn largely from Okanagan Lake and local creeks through several different water utilities, and it generally carries more minerals than the soft coastal reservoirs. Scale on dishwasher heating elements, stiff or clogged water inlet valves, and mineral buildup in ice makers and steam ovens are common as a result. Using rinse aid, descaling where the manufacturer recommends it and changing refrigerator filters on schedule all help.
Vacation homes and advance scheduling
Many Kelowna and West Kelowna properties are second homes or seasonal rentals with premium kitchens from Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, Miele and Fisher & Paykel. Because we travel to the Okanagan by highway, appointments are booked in advance and availability varies. Sending us the brand, model and serial number, along with photos of any error codes, helps us bring likely parts and aim to finish in a single visit.
What does appliance service cost in Kelowna?
Custom travel fee
Ferry-dependent and long-distance locations are served on scheduled trips. Because travel time varies, we quote a customized travel fee when you book — and we'll ask for your appliance's brand, model and serial number so the right parts can come on the trip.
Parts and repair labour are quoted separately after the inspection, and you approve the estimate before any chargeable work. Fees & estimates FAQ
