Warranty-authorized service provider
The go-to technicians for Fulgor Milano ranges, cooktops & rangetops in BC
Fix Cheetah is authorized to perform Fulgor Milano manufacturer-warranty repairs, and we fix out-of-warranty Fulgor Milano appliances with the same training and genuine parts.
Fulgor Milano range repair mostly means Sofia pro-style ranges, built in Italy in 30-, 36- and 48-inch widths with gas, dual-fuel and induction options. Sofia ranges use heavy continuous cast-iron grates, sealed brass burners including dual-flame burners, and automatic re-ignition, while dual-fuel models pair those burners with large electric convection ovens. The brand also makes gas and induction rangetops and cooktops; the induction models offer bridge zones, power boost and pan detection. Gas valves, igniters, convection systems and induction electronics can all sit in one kitchen, and you want a technician who's comfortable with every one of them.
Fix Cheetah is warranty-authorized for Fulgor Milano and repairs Sofia ranges, rangetops and cooktops under eligible warranty or on a paid basis. All gas connections, valves and burner adjustments are handled by gas-certified technicians working to BC code. We test burners, igniters, re-ignition circuits, valves, oven elements and induction power modules before quoting, and use genuine Fulgor Milano parts. Our Surrey team serves Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, our Whistler team covers the Sea-to-Sky corridor, and remote clients are served on scheduled trips.

5 Most Common Fulgor Milano Range Issues and How to Fix Them
Fulgor Milano burner keeps clicking after lighting
Sofia burners have automatic re-ignition: if the control thinks the flame has gone out, it sparks again. So a burner that lights and then keeps clicking usually can't sense its own flame. A brass cap sitting slightly off its base, moisture from a pot that boiled over, or grease on the electrode are the usual reasons. With the burner off and cool, dry it and reseat the cap until it drops into place. If the clicking continues, the switch, spark module or flame-sensing circuit needs a gas-certified technician.
Fulgor Milano range yellow flame
A healthy Sofia burner burns crisp and blue. Yellow tips, a lazy flame or one ring of a dual-flame burner lighting weakly point to clogged ports, a misaligned inner cap, or an orifice that doesn't match your fuel. That last one comes up after a switch between natural gas and propane, which is common outside the gas network in the Sea-to-Sky. Wash the brass caps in warm water and dry them fully. Orifice and pressure adjustments are gas work for a certified technician. If you smell gas, leave and call FortisBC.
Fulgor Milano dual-fuel oven not heating
On a dual-fuel Sofia the burners are gas but the oven is electric, so a cold oven with perfectly good burners is an electrical fault. The usual causes are a failed bake or convection element, a drifting temperature sensor, or a relay on the control that no longer closes. On 48-inch models, check whether only one of the two ovens is affected. Reset the breaker once and confirm the oven isn't sitting in a timed mode. Beyond that, the element, sensor and relay need testing on site by a technician.
Fulgor Milano induction cooktop not detecting the pan
Bridge zones are picky. A Fulgor induction zone, or a bridged pair, needs a flat magnetic base that covers enough of the marked area, and a long griddle pan that's slightly bowed may not register on both halves. Try a known induction-safe pan on a single zone first, and clean the glass. If correct cookware still isn't detected, or a zone shuts off under power boost, the coil, the power module or the cooling airflow beneath a built-in cooktop needs checking. That work is inside the cooktop, so it's ours.
Fulgor Milano Sofia oven door sagging
Sofia oven doors are big, heavy and multi-pane. Years of opening them, leaning on them or resting a roasting pan on the open door wear the hinges, and the door starts to sit crooked. Then the gasket stops sealing, and you'll notice heat escaping at the top, uneven baking and a warm control panel. Close the door gently and look for a visible gap or a torn gasket. Don't try to remove the door yourself, because the hinges are spring-loaded. New hinges and a gasket restore the seal.
When a Sofia range needs more than a cleaning, our gas-certified technicians diagnose it, fit genuine Fulgor Milano parts under warranty or on a quoted repair, and cover Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and the Sea-to-Sky.

Fulgor Milano Range Repair FAQ
What do I need for Fulgor Milano range warranty service?
Please have the model and serial number, usually on a label visible when the oven door is open or on the range frame, proof of purchase with the date and dealer, and whether it runs on natural gas or propane. As a warranty-authorized Fulgor Milano provider, we check eligibility first and quote any work that is not covered.
Do you service 48-inch Sofia ranges with two ovens?
Yes. We service every Sofia size, including 48-inch models with two ovens and griddle options. Each oven has its own elements and temperature sensor, so we diagnose them independently and only quote for the cavity that's actually at fault.
Can you convert a Fulgor Milano range to propane?
Yes, when a manufacturer-approved conversion kit exists for your model. Our gas-certified technicians fit it and adjust the burners to BC code. Conversions are common in parts of the Sea-to-Sky corridor and rural areas without natural gas.
