Warranty-authorized service provider
The go-to technicians for Blomberg ranges, cooktops & rangetops in BC
Fix Cheetah is authorized to perform Blomberg manufacturer-warranty repairs, and we fix out-of-warranty Blomberg appliances with the same training and genuine parts.
Blomberg range repair often starts with a 24-inch range in a condo kitchen. Blomberg is unusual in offering a full set of compact 24-inch ranges in gas, electric and induction, made for condos and small kitchens, alongside 30-inch slide-in and pro-style ranges and separate cooktops. Many of its ovens use what Blomberg calls true European convection, with a dedicated heating element around the rear fan for even baking on every rack, and the doors use cool-touch glass. Induction models pair power-boost zones with touch controls. The gas ranges use sealed burners and electronic ignition. That mix of compact sizing, convection and electronics shapes how these ranges fail, and how we repair them.
Fix Cheetah is warranty-authorized for Blomberg cooking appliances, so covered range and cooktop repairs are handled with genuine parts and properly reported to the manufacturer. Older ranges are repaired as regular service after a diagnosis and a quote you approve. Any gas work is carried out by gas-certified technicians to BC code. We service Blomberg ranges and cooktops in condos and houses throughout Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey, Langley and Chilliwack, and our Whistler team handles Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton. Ferry-served and remote areas are covered on scheduled trips booked in advance.

5 Most Common Blomberg Range Issues and How to Fix Them
Blomberg gas range burner won't light
Clicking with no flame usually means the spark can't reach the gas: a burner cap sitting off-centre, ports clogged by a boil-over, or an electrode still wet from cleaning. On the compact 24-inch models the burners sit close together, so one spill can reach two of them. Let the burner dry, reseat the cap so it sits flat, and brush the ports clear once it's cool. If every burner sparks and none light, the spark module or gas supply needs a gas-certified technician. Smell gas? Leave and call FortisBC.
Blomberg induction cooktop not detecting the pan
A flashing zone symbol on a Blomberg induction top normally means the pan isn't being read. Test the base with a fridge magnet and match the pan to the ring size; small espresso pots often fail on the larger zones. Wipe the glass and try another zone. If good cookware still isn't detected, or the power-boost zone cuts out after a few minutes, the induction coil, power board or the cooling fan under the glass is the likely fault. Reaching those means opening the cooktop, which is a job for us.
Blomberg range oven not heating
When the cooktop works but the oven stays cold or crawls to temperature, look at the bake element and the temperature sensor first. A visibly split or blistered element is the easy case. Often, though, the element looks perfectly normal and has simply gone open circuit inside. Make sure a timer or delay-start setting isn't active, then switch the breaker off for a minute and back on to reset the control. If the oven still won't heat, we test the element, the sensor and the control board relays before quoting a part.
Blomberg convection fan not working
With true European convection, the fan at the back of a Blomberg oven has its own ring-shaped element. If that element burns out, the fan still spins and regular bake still works, but convection modes come out pale or slow. A fan that doesn't turn at all, or grinds as it turns, points to the fan motor instead. Check that you've actually selected a convection mode and that no tray is pushed against the rear cover. The ring element and motor sit behind the rear panel with live wiring, so book a repair rather than opening it.
Blomberg range touch controls not responding
Steam rising from a pot, a wet cloth left on the glass or an active child lock can all make Blomberg touch controls ignore you. Dry the panel completely, look for a key or padlock symbol and hold it to release the lock, then reset the breaker for a minute. Controls that freeze only after the oven has been on for a while are a different story. The cooling fan that protects the electronics may be failing and letting the touch board overheat, and that needs diagnosis before anyone replaces the board itself.
Still stuck after those checks? We diagnose Blomberg ranges and cooktops on site, fit genuine parts under warranty or as a quoted repair, and cover Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and the Sea-to-Sky corridor.

Blomberg Range Repair FAQ
What information speeds up a Blomberg range warranty repair?
Please have the model and serial number, usually on a label visible when the oven door or storage drawer is opened, together with your proof of purchase. Tell us whether the range is gas, electric or induction and what the symptom is. That lets us confirm coverage and come prepared with the right parts.
Do you repair the 24-inch compact Blomberg ranges?
Yes. Compact 24-inch ranges are common in Metro Vancouver condos and laneway homes, and we service the gas, electric and induction versions. Their tighter construction needs patience, but the parts and the approach are well known to us.
Can you convert a Blomberg gas range between natural gas and propane?
Conversions must use the correct manufacturer parts and be done by a gas-certified technician. We can assess your range, confirm what is required for your model and carry out the work to BC code where the conversion is supported.
