Samsung gas oven not heating
Samsung gas ovens use a glow-bar igniter, and after a few years it can glow without drawing enough current to open the gas valve. The oven then takes several minutes to light, lights with a thump, or doesn't light at all. With the Smart Divider in, check that you're heating the zone you think you are. Make sure the range is plugged in and the clock is on. The igniter and gas valve are work for a gas-certified technician, and if you smell gas, leave the home and call FortisBC.
Samsung induction range not detecting the pan
When a Samsung induction zone won't start, or starts and keeps shutting off, check the cookware first: magnetic, flat and close to the zone size. Wipe the glass and try the same pan on another zone. With a good pan in place, the usual causes are a failed power board, a cooling fan that's blocked or failing, or a faulty coil. We test each of those rather than swapping parts on a guess, and cracked induction glass can be replaced when the part is available.
Samsung range SE error code
SE on a Samsung range means the control thinks a key is being pressed continuously. Usually that's moisture: steam from a pot, a spill or a damp cloth left on the touch panel. The range may beep and refuse to work until it clears. Dry the panel thoroughly, then switch the breaker off for a few minutes and restore power. If SE comes straight back on a dry panel, the touch panel or its ribbon connection to the control board is faulty and needs testing and replacement.
Samsung Flex Duo upper oven not working
If your Samsung range won't offer upper and lower modes, it isn't detecting the Smart Divider. Slide the divider fully into the rack position your manual specifies, level and seated all the way back, then try again. If the oven still behaves as one cavity, the divider sensor or its wiring has likely failed. If both modes appear but only one zone heats, that zone's element or sensor is the suspect. Both faults are tested behind the oven panels, so they need a technician.
Samsung glass top burner not heating
One dead burner on a Samsung smoothtop usually means a failed radiant element, an open limiter or a faulty switch or relay. The larger dual and triple elements can lose an outer ring while the centre still glows. Check that the control lock is off and you've chosen the right ring size, then reset the breaker. Look closely for cracks in the glass; a cracked top means stop using it and leave the power off. We confirm which part has failed before ordering anything.

Why won't my Samsung Flex Duo range let me use the upper oven?
The oven decides which modes to show by detecting whether the Smart Divider is installed. If the divider isn't seated properly, or the sensor or its wiring has failed, the upper and lower modes won't be offered. We check the divider's fit, test the sensor and repair the circuit.
Do you repair Samsung induction cooktops and ranges?
Yes. Induction faults often come from the power boards that drive the coils, from overheating caused by a blocked cooling fan, or from the touch controls. We test these components directly. Cracked glass on an induction top can also be replaced when the part is available.
