On a new construction project, appliances are one of the last trades in and one of the first things a buyer notices. A range that is not level, a fridge water line that weeps, or a panel-ready dishwasher with a crooked door can all end up on the deficiency list and delay occupancy. Fix Cheetah provides builder and developer appliance services across Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and the Sea-to-Sky corridor, working with general contractors to get appliances installed right, checked properly and supported after handover.

We handle everything from single custom homes with luxury built-ins to multi-family projects with hundreds of identical suites. We are warranty-authorized for European brands such as Blomberg, Fulgor Milano, Faber and Falmec that are popular with developers, factory-trained on LG, Miele, Samsung and Whirlpool, and experienced with high-end lines like Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador and Gaggenau.

The result is fewer callbacks for your site team, cleaner deficiency lists and buyers who move in with appliances that work the way they should.

New Construction Installation

We install freestanding, slide-in and fully integrated appliances to manufacturer specifications. That includes fitting custom panels to panel-ready fridges and dishwashers, anti-tip brackets on ranges, levelling and anchoring, water line connections for fridges and ice makers, and duct connections for range hoods. Gas appliances are connected by licensed gas technicians to BC code and Technical Safety BC requirements.

We work from your appliance schedule and millwork drawings, flag rough-in problems early, such as an electrical outlet in the wrong spot or a cabinet opening that does not match the spec sheet, and coordinate with your site superintendent so we are not waiting on other trades.

  • Built-in and panel-ready refrigeration, dishwashers and wine columns
  • Wall ovens, speed ovens, steam ovens and warming drawers
  • Induction, electric and gas cooktops and ranges
  • Range hoods, downdrafts and inline blowers
  • Laundry pairs, stacked units and all-in-one combo machines

PDI and Pre-Occupancy Checks

Before buyers do their walkthrough, we run each appliance through a pre-delivery inspection. We power up and test every function, check for shipping damage, confirm doors and panels are aligned, run dishwashers and washers through a cycle to check for leaks, verify fridge temperatures and ice maker fill, and test burners, elements and hood fans.

You receive a unit-by-unit checklist so your team knows exactly what is ready and what needs attention before the buyer sees it. Catching a damaged door or a missing part at this stage is far easier than dealing with it after closing.

Deficiency Lists and Close-Out

When appliance items show up on a deficiency list, we work through them quickly and document each one as closed. Typical items include panel alignment, door swing and reversal, cosmetic damage requiring replacement parts, water line leaks, noisy fans, error codes on first power-up and missing accessories.

We coordinate with manufacturers when a defect needs a warranty part and keep your project manager updated, so deficiencies do not linger and hold up occupancy or holdback release.

Warranty Service After Handover

After handover, homeowners expect someone to answer when an appliance acts up. We can act as your appliance service partner for the warranty period, handling homeowner calls, booking visits directly with owners and processing manufacturer warranty claims where we are authorized. You get a report on each call, and your customer care team no longer has to chase appliance vendors.

For strata developments, we can continue to support the strata and owners after the warranty period, which gives buyers confidence and keeps service consistent across the building.

Why Builders Work With Us

Builders need trades who show up, do it right the first time and communicate. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which makes scheduling around tight site timelines easier, and our team is used to working in active construction environments with the right safety equipment and respect for other trades' work.

What we take care of

Cabinet openings that do not match specs

Millwork built to a different model than the one delivered. We flag dimension conflicts early to avoid rework.

Misaligned panel-ready doors

Custom panels fitted without proper hinge adjustment, leaving gaps, rubbing or doors that do not seal.

Water line leaks after first fill

Loose compression fittings or kinked lines on fridge and ice maker connections that cause damage if missed.

Shipping damage found at walkthrough

Dents, scratches and broken trim discovered by buyers instead of during PDI. Our inspections catch these first.

Error codes on first power-up

Wiring, water supply or configuration issues that trigger fault codes on new appliances before anyone uses them.

Range hood ducting problems

Undersized or poorly sealed ducts and missing backdraft dampers that cause noise, poor capture and cold drafts.

Homeowner warranty calls overwhelming site teams

Post-handover appliance complaints tying up project staff. We take these calls and resolve them directly with owners.
