Faber was founded in 1955 in Fabriano, a town in central Italy's Marche region, and has spent more than six decades designing and manufacturing kitchen hoods. Since 2005 it has been part of the Swiss-based Franke Group, which positions Faber as its ventilation specialist. The brand is known for pairing Italian styling with practical extraction, from statement chimney hoods to discreet units hidden inside cabinetry.

Faber serves Canada and the United States through a shared North American lineup. It covers wall-mount and pro-style hoods, under-cabinet models, island and ceiling hoods, inserts, integrated hoods and downdraft systems, with blower options running from roughly 200 to 1,200 CFM to suit everything from condo cooktops to high-output gas ranges. How often should I clean my Faber hood filters?
