Factory-trained technicians
The go-to technicians for Samsung wall, steam & speed ovens in BC
Our technicians are factory-trained on Samsung, so we know the platforms, diagnostics and service procedures, in warranty or out.
Samsung oven repair usually means a built-in wall oven. Samsung's wall ovens in Canada include single, double and microwave combination models, most of them 30 inches wide. Many single ovens use Flex Duo, a removable divider that turns one cavity into two cooking zones with separate temperatures. Higher-end models add Steam Cook, True Dual Convection with two fans for even heat, self-clean or Steam Clean, and Wi-Fi control. Combination models put a microwave above a full oven in one cabinet. Because these ovens are built in, a repair also involves pulling the unit carefully, protecting trim and supporting a heavy chassis.
Fix Cheetah's factory-trained technicians service Samsung wall ovens in custom and builder kitchens across Metro Vancouver, from Vancouver and the North Shore to Burnaby, Richmond and Surrey, and through the Fraser Valley to Chilliwack. Our Whistler team covers Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton, including vacation homes that are only used part of the year. We use Samsung's diagnostic information to read fault history and test door locks, sensors and convection fans before quoting. When an oven has to come out of the cabinet, we plan the visit so it's done safely.

5 Most Common Samsung Wall Oven Issues and How to Fix Them
Samsung oven door locked after self-clean
A Samsung wall oven door that stays locked after self-clean usually has a door lock motor or switch that failed in the heat. Let the oven cool completely, which can take a good while after a high-heat clean. Then switch the breaker off for a couple of minutes and restore power so the control can retry the lock. If the door is cold and still locked, don't force it; forcing can bend the latch or crack the inner glass. We release it safely and replace the faulty lock.
Samsung oven display blank after self-clean
Self-clean heat can damage relays on the Samsung control board, or the cooling fan that protects those electronics. A blank display, dead touch pads, or an oven that beeps but won't start right after a cleaning cycle are the typical signs. Reset at the breaker for five minutes. If the display stays dark, or lights up but nothing responds, the board, the fan or the power supply needs testing. Using Steam Clean for light soil, where your model has it, reduces the strain.
Samsung oven convection fan noisy
True Dual Convection uses two rear fans, and a worn motor on either one whines, ticks or grinds. When a fan stops altogether, you'll see uneven baking between racks, with one side or one rack browning faster. Empty the oven and run convection to rule out a rack touching the fan cover. If the noise is clearly coming from the motor, or only one fan spins, that motor needs replacing. On single-fan models, the same symptoms point to the one fan.
Samsung oven slow to preheat
A Samsung wall oven that takes much longer than usual to preheat, or runs well off its setting, usually has a faulty temperature sensor, a failed hidden bake element under the floor or a weak broil element. Check with an oven thermometer on the centre rack after preheating. If you're using Flex Duo with the divider in, remember each zone heats separately and reaches temperature at its own pace. We read the fault history with Samsung's diagnostics and test the sensor and elements before quoting.
Samsung combination wall oven microwave not heating
On a Samsung combination wall oven, the upper microwave can stop heating on its own while the oven below carries on. The usual culprit is the magnetron, a high-voltage diode or one of the door switches. Make sure the microwave door latches firmly and test it with a cup of water for a minute. Don't remove the outer panels: a microwave capacitor can hold a dangerous charge long after the power is off. Most microwave repairs happen with the unit in place, though some need it pulled forward.
When a reset doesn't help, our Samsung factory-trained team reads the fault history, replaces the failed part after you approve the quote, and services wall ovens throughout Metro Vancouver, out to Chilliwack and up to Pemberton.

Samsung Wall Oven Repair FAQ
Can you repair only the microwave part of my Samsung combination wall oven?
Yes. The microwave and the oven share a cabinet but have their own components. We test the magnetron, high-voltage circuit and door switches in the upper section and repair what has failed. In most cases the oven stays in place, though some repairs need the unit pulled forward.
Should I keep using self-clean on my Samsung wall oven?
Self-clean works, but it runs the oven extremely hot, and that puts stress on door locks, the control board and cooling fans. Wiping spills regularly and using the lighter Steam Clean cycle when your model has it reduces how often you need the full cycle. If a part fails during self-clean, call us before trying to force the door open.
How do you protect my cabinets when pulling a wall oven?
Wall ovens are heavy and fit tightly into their cut-outs. We remove the mounting screws, slide the unit out onto a support and protect the cabinet edges and floor while we work. Once the repair is done, we reinstall the oven, check the trim fit and run a full heating test.
