Warranty-authorized service provider
The go-to technicians for GE wall, steam & speed ovens in BC
Fix Cheetah is authorized to perform GE manufacturer-warranty repairs, and we fix out-of-warranty GE appliances with the same training and genuine parts.
GE oven repair covers 27-inch and 30-inch wall ovens in single and double configurations, plus combination units with a microwave above a full oven. GE Profile wall ovens add true convection with no-preheat Air Fry, temperature probes and Wi-Fi connectivity, and many models offer both steam clean and self-clean. A wall oven is built into cabinetry, so repairs often involve sliding it out safely. And heat build-up from a failing door seal or cooling fan can damage the surrounding cabinets over time.
As a warranty-authorized GE provider, Fix Cheetah repairs wall ovens under eligible manufacturer warranty and on a paid basis once coverage has ended. We use GE's service diagnostics where available and test elements, the temperature sensor, convection and cooling fans, the door lock and the control board, then quote before any chargeable work. Every repair uses genuine GE parts. Our technicians serve kitchens across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley from Surrey, the Sea-to-Sky corridor from our Whistler base, and more distant communities on scheduled trips.

5 Most Common GE Wall Oven Issues and How to Fix Them
GE wall oven not heating
A GE wall oven that stays cold, or takes forever to preheat, usually has a failed bake or broil element, a temperature sensor reading out of range or a stuck relay on the control board. Several of those look identical from the outside. Check for a visible break in the elements, confirm no timer or Sabbath mode is set, and reset the breaker. GE's service diagnostics on many models help us pinpoint the part, and we measure each component before replacing anything.
GE oven F2 error code
F2 on a GE oven means the control has measured a temperature above its safety limit. Sometimes the oven really is overheating because a relay on the control board has stuck closed, but more often the temperature sensor or its wiring is feeding back a false reading. Switch the oven off at the breaker for a few minutes and let it cool. If F2 returns, stop using the oven until it's checked. We test the sensor and the control's relays to find which one is responsible.
GE oven door locked after self-clean
If your GE oven door stays locked after self-clean, first let the oven cool completely, because the lock won't release while the cavity is hot. Then cancel the cycle, or switch the breaker off for a minute and back on. If the door still won't move once it's cold, the lock motor or its switch probably failed under the extreme heat. Avoid yanking the handle. We release the door safely and replace the lock assembly or switch. GE's steam clean is kinder to these parts.
GE wall oven cooling fan loud
GE wall ovens run a cooling fan to move heat away from the controls and surrounding cabinetry. It's normal for it to keep running after the oven turns off. A fan that whines, rattles or never stops on a cold oven isn't. Worn motor bearings cause the noise, and a seized fan lets heat build until the control or cabinet suffers. If the control panel feels hot or the cabinet edge above starts to discolour, book a repair. Replacing the fan may mean pulling the oven forward.
GE Profile Air Fry not working
No-preheat Air Fry and convection on GE Profile wall ovens both depend on the rear fan and the convection element. If bake works but air-fried food stays pale, or convection cooks unevenly, one of those has likely failed. Use the shallow pan GE recommends, spread food in a single layer and listen for the fan when the mode starts. A sensor that reads wrong also throws results off. We check actual temperature with a calibrated thermometer before deciding which part to replace.
We test GE ovens with the brand's service diagnostics where available, fit genuine GE parts as warranty or paid repairs, and cover kitchens from Vancouver and Surrey out to the Fraser Valley and up to Whistler.

GE Wall Oven Repair FAQ
What should I have ready for GE wall oven warranty service?
Have the model and serial number from the label on the oven frame visible with the door open, and proof of purchase with the date and retailer. We verify coverage with GE Appliances as a warranty-authorized provider, and if the repair is not covered you get a quote before anything is done.
Can you remove a wall oven from its cabinet?
Yes. Some repairs, such as element, wiring or cooling fan work on certain models, need the oven pulled forward or out of its cabinet. We bring the right equipment, support the weight properly and protect trim and flooring.
Is it worth repairing a GE double wall oven?
Usually, yes. Replacing a double or combination wall oven means finding a unit that fits the existing cut-out, which can limit your options. We diagnose first and give you a clear quote so you can decide with full information.
