Expert repair for Capital appliances, in and out of warranty
Capital ranges are built for serious home cooks, with high-output gas burners, large convection ovens and heavy cast-iron grates. The open-burner design used on many Capital ranges differs from typical sealed residential burners, with exposed burner heads, separate igniters and commercial-style valves, so Capital appliance repair calls for someone comfortable with pro-style gas equipment. Capital wall ovens, rangetops and hoods round out many of the kitchens where we see these ranges.
Fix Cheetah services Capital ranges, rangetops, wall ovens and hoods in Vancouver, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby and Richmond, and in homes across the Fraser Valley and up to Squamish and Whistler. All gas work is done by gas-certified technicians to BC code, and we confirm parts availability with you before scheduling, since some Capital components are ordered in.

About Capital
Capital Cooking Equipment was founded in 2001 in Southern California by a team with long experience designing professional-style cooking equipment, and it has built its appliances in California ever since. The company became known among serious home cooks for its Culinarian series, one of the few residential ranges to use open gas burners similar to those in restaurant kitchens, which deliver very high heat and are easy to clean.
Capital is now part of SES (Superior Equipment Solutions), a U.S. group that also owns commercial and outdoor cooking brands. Its current residential lineup includes Classic Chef and Grand Chef gas and dual-fuel ranges, rangetops, cooktops, Maestro wall ovens and warming drawers, Performance Series ventilation hoods and undercounter refrigeration. In Canada, Capital is a niche, dealer-sold brand chosen mainly by owners who want restaurant-style cooking power at home.

Capital range hood repairCommon Capital problems we fix
Capital burner won't light or keeps clicking
Spills, moisture or a cracked igniter stop burners from lighting, while a sticking switch or wet spark module causes constant clicking. Open burners also collect debris that needs careful cleaning.
Oven not heating to temperature
A weak oven igniter, failing safety valve or faulty temperature sensor keeps the oven from heating properly. We test each part to confirm the cause before ordering anything.
Convection fan or broiler not working
A failed convection fan motor, relay or broiler igniter leaves certain cooking modes ineffective. We check the controls and wiring along with the components themselves.
Oven door not sealing
Heavy pro-style doors wear their hinges and gaskets over time, letting heat escape and causing uneven baking. Replacement restores a tight, even seal.
Range hood fan weak or loud
Grease-laden baffle filters or a failing blower motor reduce capture over a high-output range. Cleaning, rebalancing or motor replacement brings performance back.
