About Cavavin

Cavavin was founded in 1981 by Roger Fortier in Quebec, growing out of a family climate-control business that dated back to 1956. That background in heating, ventilation and building systems shaped its approach to wine storage, where stable temperature and humidity matter most. Roger's daughter, Nathalie Fortier, has led the company as president since 2000, and Cavavin is headquartered in Saint-Hubert, on Montreal's South Shore.

Cavavin describes itself as a leader in designing, manufacturing and importing wine cellars in Canada. Its lineup runs from compact undercounter wine cellars to large single- and dual-zone units, along with beverage centres, Festiva wine dispensers and storage accessories. Since 2002 the company has also offered a value range designed in Canada and built in Asia, and its newer Vinoa collection covers capacities from small to several hundred bottles.
