About Venmar

Venmar was founded in 1978 by entrepreneurs in Drummondville, Quebec, starting as a distributor of turbine vents for prefabricated and mobile homes before moving into manufacturing its own ventilation systems. Broan, the American ventilation maker, acquired the company in 1995, and Venmar now operates as part of Broan-NuTone. Drummondville remains an important design and manufacturing centre for the group's Canadian products.

Venmar is known in Canada for range hoods and for air exchangers, the heat recovery and energy recovery ventilators (HRVs and ERVs) that bring fresh air into tightly sealed modern homes.
