About U-Line

U-Line was founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1962 by Henry Uihlein, and the company is closely associated with the residential undercounter ice maker. It has stayed focused on compact, built-in refrigeration ever since, and its headquarters remain in Milwaukee. In 2014 U-Line became part of The Middleby Corporation, joining a residential group that also includes Viking, while keeping its brand and leadership.

U-Line's range is built around appliances, typically 15 to 24 inches wide, that fit under a counter: refrigerators, refrigerator and freezer drawers, wine refrigerators, beverage centres and clear ice machines, plus combination and outdoor-rated models.
