Appliance Repair Lynn Valley, North Vancouver

Lynn Valley is one of North Vancouver's largest family neighbourhoods, spreading out from Lynn Valley Centre and the village along Lynn Valley Road toward Lynn Canyon and the Lynn Headwaters. Most homes are detached houses from the post-war decades, many of them split-levels and two-storey houses with laundry on the lower floor and a suite downstairs. Lynn Valley appliance repair covers everything from original layouts with full-size Whirlpool, GE and Frigidaire appliances to renovated spaces with gas ranges, induction cooktops and French-door refrigerators from LG and Samsung.

Fix Cheetah repairs washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ranges, ovens and gas fireplaces throughout Lynn Valley. Many homes here run two kitchens and two laundry setups, one upstairs and one in the suite, and we can look at more than one appliance in a single visit. Lynn Valley is a regular stop on our North Shore runs from Surrey. We inspect each appliance, explain what we found and quote before any chargeable work starts, and landlords can approve suite repairs remotely.

Suites, second kitchens and heavy laundry use

Secondary suites are very common in Lynn Valley, and with two households sharing a house, appliances get far more use than in a single-family home. A suite's laundry pair might run every day for several people, and a compact suite refrigerator can end up in a warm, poorly ventilated alcove. We see a lot of worn washer drain pumps and door gaskets, and refrigerators struggling because their condenser coils cannot breathe.

Gas appliances and fireplaces

Many Lynn Valley homes use natural gas for heating, cooking and fireplaces. A gas fireplace that will not stay lit, a range burner that clicks but will not ignite, or a gas dryer that runs without heat are all repairs our gas-certified technicians handle to BC code.

Fireplaces benefit from servicing before the heating season, since dust, cobwebs and worn thermocouples or thermopiles are common reasons a fireplace will not start after sitting unused all summer.
