Uptown is the area at the top of the hill around Sixth Street and Sixth Avenue, centred on Royal City Centre and stretching out to Moody Park, Tipperary Park and the edges of the Brow of the Hill and Glenbrooke North. Appliance repair in Uptown New Westminster is mostly apartment work: wood-frame walk-ups and concrete mid-rises from the 1960s through the 1980s line the side streets, newer condo buildings sit along Sixth Street, and older detached homes fill the quieter blocks.

Older rental apartments
Uptown has a large stock of rental apartments, many in buildings that predate in-suite laundry. Where washers and dryers have been added later, they are often compact or stacked units squeezed into closets with limited venting and shared plumbing. We check the installation as well as the machine, and work with landlords, property managers and tenants on access and approvals.
Elevators, stairs and parking
