Westwood Plateau rises above Coquitlam Town Centre along Parkway Boulevard, Panorama Drive and Plateau Boulevard, with the Westwood Plateau Golf and Country Club at its heart and Port Moody's Heritage Woods across David Avenue. Most homes we see on Westwood Plateau appliance repair calls were built from the 1990s onward: large two-storey and walkout houses on sloped lots, plenty with a basement suite, and townhouse complexes lower down near Lafarge Lake and Coquitlam Centre. Many streets are steep and winding, with driveways to match.
Many of these homes are now on a second generation of appliances, and renovated kitchens often have built-in refrigeration, wall ovens, gas cooktops and island hoods from Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, Miele, Bosch and Fulgor Milano. Original kitchens and suites lean on KitchenAid, Whirlpool, GE and Frigidaire. We reach the Plateau from Surrey over the Port Mann Bridge and up from Coquitlam Town Centre. Same-day visits are often possible but not guaranteed, and you approve the quote before work begins.

Walkout basements and two laundry areas
Hillside lots mean many Plateau homes have a walkout lower level, often with a suite or a second family room and its own kitchen or wet bar. Beverage centres, under-counter wine coolers and bar fridges are common here, and they fail in their own ways: noisy fans, failed thermostats and condenser coils clogged with dust. We repair those alongside the main kitchen and laundry appliances in the same visit.
Renovated kitchens on 1990s houses
When a 1990s kitchen gets a premium refit, the new gas cooktop, larger wall oven or more powerful hood may be working with original gas lines, circuits and ductwork. A hood that is undersized for its duct or a cooktop with weak burner flames can be an installation question as much as a part failure. Our gas-certified technicians check supply and ignition to BC code and tell you plainly what is going on.

Westwood Plateau appliance repair FAQ
Do you repair wine coolers and beverage centres on Westwood Plateau?
Yes. We service built-in and freestanding wine coolers and beverage centres, including Cavavin and Fhiaba, along with other premium brands.
My built-in fridge runs constantly and is not cold enough. What is likely wrong?
Common causes are dirty condenser coils, a failing condenser or evaporator fan, a defrost fault or a worn door seal. We test each and quote the repair.
Can you look at my suite appliances in the same visit?
Yes. Let us know what needs attention on each floor when you book, and we will plan enough time to cover both.
