Crescent Beach is a small, close-knit seaside village on the Boundary Bay side of South Surrey, tucked below the Crescent Heights bluff and next to Blackie Spit. Its few hundred properties range from modest older cottages on narrow lanes to architect-designed custom homes facing the water. Getting in: the railway crossings
Both roads into Crescent Beach, at Beecher Street and McBride Avenue, cross the BNSF rail line, and a passing or stopped train can hold up traffic. Parking on the narrow lanes is tight too, especially on warm weekends. When you book, tell us where our technician can park and whether a delivery vehicle can reach your door. For installations and removals we plan the carry route ahead of time so the visit runs smoothly.
Low-lying, damp and close to salt water
The village sits only slightly above sea level, so crawl spaces and ground-floor laundry rooms can stay humid, and salt air reaches everything outdoors. We see corroded exterior vent flaps, outdoor kitchen appliances with rusted hardware and dryer exhausts clogged where lint meets damp air.
Inside, built-in refrigerators and wine columns depend on clear ventilation through their toe-kick or top grille. Keeping those openings free of dust and sand does a lot to prevent warm-temperature complaints.

The standard Metro Vancouver inspection fee is $99 plus GST. For an eligible appliance repair, it may be applied toward the repair when the approved repair is completed by Fix Cheetah.
